On a daily basis, The Pepper Pot's Menu will include beef stew, curry shrimp, pepper steak, curry goat, curry chicken, served on steamed rice with a green salad. The weekends are the favorites: Oxtails or Jerk Chicken served with red beans and rice with a green salad. With a name like Pepper Pot some would think every thing we serve is spicy, but all of our dishes are well season to the taste. All cook order items take about 10-15 minutes to prepare. When you stop by try our fresh carrot juice and Jamaican patties served until we sell out. Don't forget about our famous fruit punch which some refer to as "Jamaican Punch". Our secret recipe for this punch includes real fruit juices. Since we are a take out Restaurant, we provided and outside patio area with colorful umbrellas with tables and chairs for your enjoyment on breezy spring & summer evenings or warm fall & winter afternoons.
The Pepper Pot Restaurant is considered as "The Grandfather of Caribbean restaurant in Jacksonville, FL. Established in October 1983 by Aston Gordon, a descendent of Jamaica. He was born in Montego Bay and began working in a chinese Restaurant There he learned to cook chinese style and took his experience to various cruise ships.

Finally reaching the United States, he furthered his skills and experience by graduating from the Culinary University of St. Augustine, FL. While working for a major Hotel Chain for 12 years, Aston decide to take all of his Jamaican, Chinese, and American culinary experience and opened The Pepper Pot Restaurant.
